        Active part (trekking) is run in the most picturesque place of Uzbekistan – in Ugam-Chatkal national park in the mountains of Western Tien-Shan (it means "Celestial Mountains") near the popular mountain skiing resorts "Chimgan" and "Beldersay" and Charvak high-mountain reservoir.

BRIEF PROGRAM OF THE TOUR

Day 1 Arrival in Tashkent. Excursion along the city.
Day 2 Transfer to Yangiabad and further to the gorge of Dukentsay River. Overnight at the river.
Day 3 Horseback riding through the pass to the gorge of Alatanga River.
Day 4 Ascend on Muzbel Pass. Descend to the gorge of Revashte River.
Day 5 Riding along Revashte river. Approach to Aktakhta Pass. The camp at the spring.
Day 6 Ascend on Aktakhta Pass, traverse along Karangur River. The camp is near Aksakata Pass.
Day 7 Radial outlet on high-mountain enigmatic Pulatkhan Plateau. Return in the camp.
Day 8 Traverseing of Mingjilki Range. Sightseeing of petroglyphs. The camp near Kumbel Pass.
Day 9 Radial outlet – descend on the Big Chimgan Peak.
Day 10 Descend along the range to Chetkumbel Pass to Mramornaya river. Wwaterfall.
Day 11 Takhtajaylyau Pass. Kiziljar. Transfer to Charvak high-mountain reservoir.
Day 12 Transfer to Tashkent. Rest.
Day 13 Transfer to Samarkand. Excursions.
Day 14 Excursion. Transfer to Tashkent.
Day 15 Transfer to the airport and departure.
Day 1 Arrival in Tashkent. Accommodation in hotel.
Excursion along the city: Old city, Barak-Khan madrasah (XVI c.), Yunus – Khan mausoleum, Kafal-al-Shashi Mazar (XVI c.), Kukeldash madrasah (XVIII c.), Applied Arts museum, Independence square, People’s Freindship square, subway, the National Theatre of opera and ballet.
Day 2 Transfer to Yangiabad and further to the gorge of Dukentsay River (130 km, 4 hrs).
The horse trek begins in a very beautiful rocky gorge of Chilten River. The path now dodges among red rocks, or descends to waterfalls. There are numerous baths incused by water in the rocky base, in which the swimming is a great pleasure in summer.
Overnight at the river at the altitude of 1750m. (5 km, +350 m)
Day 3 Horseback riding through the pass (2250 m) to the gorge of Alatanga River up to its fusion with Muzbel river. The camp at the altitude of 2000 m (10 km, +500m, -450 m, +150 m).
Day 4 Ascend on Muzbel Pass (3060 m). The itinerary passes at the foot of Revash Top. The great landscapes to snow-rocky summits Karakush (3864 m), Babaytag (3555 m), Aksham (3789 m), Big Chimgan (3309 m). Descend to the gorge of Revashte River (12 km, ± 1060 m).
The camp at the altitude of 2000 m.
Day 5 Riding along Revashte river. Approach to Aktakhta Pass. The camp at the spring (2100 m). (7 km, -200m, +300 m).
After lunch it is possible to have an excursion in Aktakhta Gorge where ancient Ice left meadow with remaining stones of odd forms.
Day 6 Ascend on Aktakhta Pass (2310 m), traverse along Karangur River.
The camp is near Aksakata Pass. (12 km, ± 350 m)
Day 7 Radial outlet on high-mountain, covered with legends, enigmatic Pulatkhan Plateau (15 km, 6 hrs, +250 m). There are some flocks of sheep in the distance and the ranges and numerous colonies of Menzbir’s marmots are in a full view. The sightseeing of Chatkal and Pskem Ranges of Western Tien-Shan. Views on Pulatkhan Plateau, Tereklisay and Akbulak Gorges.
Return in the camp near Aksakata Pass (20 km, ± 250 m)
Day 8 Traverseing of Mingjilki Range via the Passes Aksakata (2450 m), Takhta (2620 m), Kumbel (2550 m) – the sightseeing of petroglyphs of the late Stone Age.
The camp near Kumbel Pass (13 km, +170 m, -70 m)
Day 9 Radial outlet – descend on the popular eastern top of Tyan-Shan – Big Chimgan Peak (3309m).
From the top opens a splendid landscape on Chirchik River’s valley, Charvak Mountain reservoir, the legendary Pulatkhan plateau, on Ugam, Pskem, Koksuy, Chatkal ranges of Tyan-Shan’s Chirchik river, Karajantau range. (13 km, ± 760 m)
Day 10 Descend along the range to Chetkumbel Pass (1880 m), further descend to Beldersay River and ascend on Urtakumbel Pass (1850 m) and descend to Mramornaya river (10 km, -850 m, +200 m). The excursion to the waterfall with sightseeing the canyon with outlets of relic stony shells on the way.
The camp is in the gorge of Marble River (1700 m).
Day 11 Ascend on Takhtajaylyau Pass (2190 m), riding via popular Chimgan high-mountain, descend to the panoramic top of Kiziljar (1900m) and further traverse along Ishakkupryuksay to Charvak reservoir.
Transfer to Charvak high-mountain reservoir. The rest, swimming.
Overnight stay on ayvans on the lake-shore of Charvak (18 km, +250 m, -1200 m).
Day 12 Transfer to Tashkent ~ 120 km. Accommodation in the hotel. Rest.
Day 13 Transfer to Samarkand (350km, 4-5 hours).
Excursions: the “Heart” of Samarkand – Registan square (XIV-XVI c.) with its 3 famous madrasah: Sherdor, Ulugbek and Tilya-Kori, grand cathedral mosque Bibi-Khanum (XV c.), a splendid Gur-Emir mausoleum (XV c.), where was buried Tamerlan, his sons and his grandson Ulugbek.
Day 14 The excursion is continued Transfer to Tashkent (350km, 4-5 hours). Hotel.
Day 15 Transfer to the airport and departure.

Terms of the program:

The itinerary doesn’t have the sporting category of difficulty; it is available for all tourists, having good physical condition. The weather is usually stable, warm, sunny during trekking, but it’s possible some precipitation and wind. Day temperature, depending on altitude is from 10oC up to 35oC. Daily walking is 10-18 km, maximum of altitude ~1100 m, maximum height is 3309 m.a.s.l. Tourists’ luggage (no more than 12 kg/person) and tents are also carried by pack horses during the trekking. The equipment and meal are being carrying by horses. Mountain guide and cook escort the group. Age limits – 18. Children (from 15) can participate in trekking accompanied by parents.

Mountain guide is a leadership of a group and a company plenipotentiary on the itinerary. The guide has a right to change a “thread” of the itinerary in connection with weather or other conditions, threatening tourists’ safety.

Group gathering: the tourists must arrive to the tour’s starting point on the day of program’s beginning (at the worst – until 08:00 on second day). The supplement in the case of early/late arrival (before the date of tour’s beginning/finishing) will be extra paid by the tourist. “Asia Adventure” can help to book the hotels for that time, will meet at the airport and propose an extra program. Anyway you will be surrounded by our attention and chariness.

"Asia Adventures" provides the following equipment for trekking: 2-3-seater tents, equipment for food intake and preparing, first-aid set. Every participant should have: rucksack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, warm clothes, comfortable footwear for trekking, running shoes, water- and windproof overcoats, flashlight, protection cream, sun glasses, head-dress (panama, cap, little cap). It’s possible a rent of rucksack, sleeping bags, sleeping pads.

Meals: food is prepared by cook of “Asia Adventures” during the trekking (tourists’ help is appreciated). In the cities – breakfast in hotels, lunches and dinners are paid by the tourist (not included to the tour cost)

Documents: it’s necessary to have a foreign passport with the date of expiry no less than 3 months on the date of tour finishing and medical insurance.
